Plaga

This work deals with the construction of large-volume objects through the thousands of figures of hysterical women corresponding to the twelve poses.

In room 1, there is a volume whose shape changes according to the viewpoint of the visitor. Seen from further away it looks like a huge swarm of tiny and indefinable elements in flight.

In room 2, the stamped figures form a two-dimensional swarm that invades the walls. A small volume of blocked figures interrupts the space of the room.

The positioning of glass displays in the rooms creates an escopic distance which accentuates the ambiguity of the volume as it’s only on entering the room that one sees what figures make up the volume.
